Frequently asked questions.
What counts as an 'API call'?
Any request to api.fastdol.com/v1/* authenticated with your API key. One employer fetch = one call; the batch endpoint counts each employer in the batch separately. API calls are the only metered unit — website search and profile browsing are free and unlimited on every tier. Your remaining quota is returned on every successful response.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid-tier access until then and downgrade to Free automatically on the period-end date. Cancel via 'Manage subscription' on your account page (opens the Stripe Billing Portal). Your API keys and data are preserved across the cancellation.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscription fees are non-refundable — cancellation gives you the rest of the period you've already paid for rather than a prorated refund. If a billing error needs correcting, email support@fastdol.com and we'll handle it case-by-case.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes. The Stripe Billing Portal handles upgrades and downgrades between Starter and Growth with automatic proration on the dollar amount. Your API-call counter keeps running until the natural monthly reset — it isn't reset on a tier change. On a downgrade the new lower limit applies immediately.
