PREVIOUS STUDIES HAVE INDICATED A CONCENTRATION OF TRICHLOROETHENE (TCE) WHICH MAY POSE A THREAT TO HUMAN HEALTH OR THE ENVIRONMENT. THE INVESTIGATION WILL BE CARRIED OUT USING PASSIVE SOIL GAS (PSG) SAMPLERS PLACED IN THE GROUND AT 81 LOCATIONS AND ALLOWED TO ADSORB SOIL GASES FOR TWO WEEKS. THE PSG SAMPLERS WILL THEN BE RECOVERED AND ANALYZED FOR CHLORINATED SOLVENTS. THIS USACE REQUIRES THE SUPPLY OF PSG SAMPLING DEVICES, AS WELL AS ANALYSIS, REPORTING AND MAPPING OF THE PSG SAMPLER DATA. 2.0 TASKS 2.1 TASK 1 SUPPLY PASSIVE SOIL GAS SAMPLERS THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPPLY SUFFICIENT PSG SAMPLERS TO PERFORM A 156 POINT SOIL GAS SURVEY.
