IT WILL HAVE RECORD STORAGE AREAS IN ITS REGIONAL OFFICE THAT ARE TO BE LOCATED ON FLOORS 3 AND 4 OF THE RENAISSANCE TOWER. AN HDMS SYSTEM IS PLANNED FOR THE CONSOLIDATED REGIONAL RECORD CENTER (RRC) LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE 3RD FLOOR AND A SMALL LIBRARY COMPONENT ON THE EAST SIDE (SEE EXHIBIT 3). THE RRC IS PROPOSED TO HAVE ABOUT 2,540 SQUARE FEET OF HDMS FOOTPRINT WITH ABOUT 12,300 LINEAR FEET OF SHELVING. THE LIBRARY COMPONENT WILL HAVE ABOUT 90 SQUARE FEET OF FOOTPRINT WITH 350 LINEAR FEET OF SHELVING. ON THE 4TH FLOOR, THE SUPERFUND RECORDS MANAGEMENT (SRM) IS PLANNED ON THE NORTH SIDE. THE ESTIMATED HDMS FOOTPRINT OF THE SRM IS ABOUT 1,015 SF AND IT IS PLANNED TO HAVE 4,300 LINEAR FEET OF SHELVING. EPA IS SEEKING BIDS PER THIS SOW FOR HIGH DENSITY MOBILE SHELVING (HDMS) UNITS THAT ARE TO BE PROCURED AND INSTALLED WITHIN THE TIME FRAMES NOTED IN THE SCHEDULE. SINCE THE HDMS SYSTEMS WILL BE INSTALLED IN A NEW LEASE, THE SELECTED OFFEROR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE RELEVANT DATA AND SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS TO THE ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING FIRMS (A/E) OF RECORD (FOR EPA AND THE LESSOR) AND ASSIST IN DETERMINING LOAD LEVELS FOR STRUCTURALLY REINFORCING THE SLABS WHERE THE SYSTEMS WILL BE INSTALLED.
