SUSPEND ROCKFALL DRAPE ALONG THE CREST OF THE SLOPE AND DRAPE IT DOWN THE FACE SO AS TO RESTRAIN LOOSE AND BROKEN ROCK THAT MAY FALL. THE DRAPE SHOULD BE TERMINATED 4 FT ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE. THE NET SHOULD CONSIST OF A LIGHTER MESH OVERLAIN BY A LARGE OPENING WIRE OR STEEL STRAND MESH NETTING. THE HIGH TENSILE STEEL WIRE FOR THE LARGE OPENING MESH SHOULD HAVE A MINIMUM DIAMETER OF 0.157 IN (4 MM) AND A TENSILE STRENGTH STEEL WIRE OF EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN 256 KSI. 5.
